Welcome to Torringford Elementary School. As a district, we are focused on improving student attendance, providing engaging instruction, and increasing student independence.  This starts with strong relationships. As well-connected community of families, students, and staff, we can achieve a school culture of lifelong learners.  We plan to positively impact social, emotional, physical, and academic growth for all students by improving our attendance, providing an engaging learning experience, and explicitly teaching our students skills and strategies to support independence. When parents, students, and educators work together, success for everyone can be achieved. 

Please get involved in your child's education by staying in contact with your child's teachers. We expect our staff to communicate positive messages as well as concerns.  We want to keep regular communication to ensure a team approach to each child’s success.

Communication is a key to a successful education and positive relationships. You can locate teachers email addresses and voicemail extensions on our website.  There are several events planned throughout the year to build our community and support one another.  Newsletters and updates will be posted regularly to keep you informed. Another way you can get involved is joining or attending our PTO meetings.  PTO provides enrichment activities through your support and fundraising.  We all want our children to have amazing experiences and memories of their primary education that will last a lifetime.
